About JEE Main

JEE is known as Joint Entrance Exam. JEE main is an India level  undergraduates engineering entrance examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education but now JEE main 2019 exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission in National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs) and other various centrally funded  engineering colleges across in India. JEE Main exam will be organized twice in a year according to the recent announcement by the Minister of Human Resource Development minister Prakash Javadekar.  JEE main exam will be held from 6 January to 20 January and again in 7 April to 21 April. Students can register for JEE Main exam 2019 for January exam from 1 September to 30 September 2018 and Students can also register for April exam in February 2019. Eligibility Criteria of JEE Main 2019

Nationality – Indian /OCI/PIO/other country’s Students can apply.

Age Limit:

The age limit of students fall on or after October 01 1994 will be eligible to apply. The Students belonging to SC, ST, PwD the age limit of students fall on or after October 01, 1989 will be eligible to apply for JEE Main 2019.

Education Qualification of JEE Main 2019

The students who have qualified the class 10+2 or appearing in 12th class will be eligible to apply for JEE Main 2019.

Number of Subjects:

The students must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th examination.

Note – The students who have taken four subjects in class 12th will not be permitted to apply.

Number of Attempts:

The maximum attempts in JEE Main for students will be available for three times.

JEE Main Exam Pattern 2019

JEE main exam is organized in two different stages – JEE Main and the JEE Advanced. JEE Main has two papers first B.E. / B.Tech and paper second B.Arch and B.Planning.

JEE Main Paper – I Exam Pattern

JEE Main paper first will be held to take admission to B.E. / B.Tech courses. This this year JEE Main exam will be conducted in online mode.

JEE Main Paper – I will carry three subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics  and each subject carries 30 questions. Each question contains 4 marks for right answer and each wrong answer punished 1/4th marks. There will be total 90 questions and the maximum marks will be 360. The duration of JEE Main Paper – I first will be 3 hours and  the students having 40% disability, the exam duration will be 4 hour.

JEE Main Paper – II Exam Pattern

JEE Main paper – II will be held to take admission to B.Arch/ B.Plan courses. This this year JEE Main exam will be conducted in online mode.

JEE Main Paper – II will carry three section first Mathematics, second Aptitude Test and third Drawing Test. Mathematics contains 30 questions, Aptitude Test contains 50 questions and Drawing Test contains 2 questions. The total time duration of JEE Main Paper – II will be 3 hour and maximum marks will be 390. There will be negative marking of 1 number for each wrong answer. The question paper language will be in English & Hindi, the Students belonging to Gujarat, Dman & Diu, and Dadar & Nagar Haveli question paper will be provide in Guajarati.

Syllabus of JEE Main 2019

Syllabus of JEE Man is the most crucial parts to the students to prepare JEE Main exam 2019. JEE Main 2019 will be organized only in online mode by National Testing Agency (NTA) and the syllabus of JEE Main will remain unchanged. Admit Card of JEE Main 2019

The students who have successfully apply for JEE Main 2019 will able to download their admit card. The admit card of JEE Main 2019 will be available in the month of December 2018. The students can download their admit card via online mode by filling the registration number and date of birth respectively.

JEE Main Answer Key 2019

NTA will release the answer key of JEE Main 2019 after CBT examination. JEE Main 2019 answer key will be released by online mode. The Students who have appeared in the CBT examination of JEE Main 2019 will be able to download their answer key. Students can download their answer key by filling roll number and date of birth respectively. Students will be able to check their rough score by using the JEE Main answer key.

JEE Main Result 2019

National Testing Agency will declare the result of JEE Main 2019 for January session. JEE Main 2019 result will be declared in the first week of February. JEE Main result will be published through online mode. Students can download their result by filling the roll number and date of birth respectively.

JEE Main Cutoff 2019

The National Testing Agency will release the cutoff via online mode. Cutoff of JEE Main 2019 helps the students to appear in JEE advance examination. The NTA will release Cutoff marks of JEE Main 2019 for different categories. The Cutoff marks of JEE Main 2019 depends on number of students and difficulty level. The students who score more or equal to cutoff marks is considered as qualified JEE Main 2019.

JEE Main Counselling 2019

After declaring the result students have to go through counsellig process. JEE Main 2019 Counselling and seat allotment will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The students who are eligible and qualified in JEE Main 2019 will be able for counselling. The JEE Main counselling and Seat allotment process will be organized via online mode. The counselling process of JEE main 2019 will be organized in the second week of June. The counselling and seat allotment of JEE Main 2019 will be based on the merit of students, choice filling and availability of seats. JoSAA will allot the seats in two rounds and these round help students to know their seats. The seats of students will be allocated on the basis of their choice filling in JEE Main 2019.
