Definition of Cutoff Marks: The Cutoff is the minimum obtained marks by candidates by which candidates is able to get admission or qualify exam or clear interview and selected. There are different types of cutoff like admission cut-off, Jobs cutoff, Entrance Exam cutoff. The Cut-off score is decided by candidate’s marks, percentile, category, marks. The cutoff marks also depend on number of available seats of University admission, number of vacancy and stream, number of candidates appear in exam, difficulty level of exam etc. The candidates who do not qualify minimum cutoff, has been disqualified.
