In accordance with the guidelines of the Joint Entrance Examination Council, UP, Lucknow All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, for admission in all the polytechnic institutions in the state by conducting admission test at the state level and in class-wise qualification, UP “was formed in the year 1986-87. This institution is a self-governing and self-funded organization and it’s headquarter situated in Lucknow is registered under Council Societies Act-1860.
संयुक्त प्रवेश परीक्षा परिषद, उ०प्र०, लखनऊ अखिल भारतीय तकनीकी शिक्षा परिषद, नई दिल्ली के दिशा निर्देशों के अनुरूप प्रदेश स्तर पर प्रवेश परीक्षा कराकर एवं वर्गवार योग्यताक्रम में प्रदेश में चल रहे सभी पालीटेक्निक संस्थाओं में प्रवेश की कार्यवाही सुनिश्चित करने हे “संयुक्त प्रवेश परीक्षा परिषद, उ०प्र०” का गठन वर्ष 1986-87 में किया गया था। यह संस्था एक स्वशासी एवं स्ववित्त पोषित संस्था है तथा इसका मुख्यालय लखनऊ में स्थित है यह परिषद सोसाइटीज एक्ट-1860 के अधीन पंजीकृत है।
