SSC MTS Exam (Multi-Tasking Non-Technical Staff)


The Staff Selection Commission holds the examination of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff every year for the post of General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Central Government Ministries/ Departments/ Offices, in different States/ Union Territories. The latest recruitment process of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff exam I (Paper-1)  has been done on date 16.04.2017 to 16.04.2017 which was based on Computer mode. The examination of MTS is done online mode and the Paper-I is an objective multiple choice question type. The performance of MTS Paper-I is required to appear in the examination of MTS Paper-II and the Paper-II who holds descriptive, Paper and Pen type.

Eligibility criteria of SSC MTS

The Eligibility Criteria of SSC MTS is given below:

Candidate must pass the matriculation (10th) Examination or equivalent exams from any recognized board.

Age Limit of SSC MTS (Non-Technical)

The Age Limit of Multi-Tasking Staff is 18-27 year.

 The Date of Birth of the candidates as recorded in the Matriculation/ Secondary Examination certificate or an equivalent certificate.

The application Fee of SSC MTS was Rs. 100/ in 2016 recruitment. (One Hundred Rupee only) for the General & OBC Male Candidates. SC/ST/PH/OH/Ex.S & all female candidates of the different categories are 0/ (Zero Rupee)

Selection Procedure of SSC MTS (Non-Technical)

The Multi-Tasking Staff examination is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission. The SSC conducts the MTS exam in two Phases. Paper-I will be an Objective multiple choice question type and Paper second will be a Descriptive Pen and Paper type. The exam of SSC MTS Paper-I contains 100 questions and the maximum mark is 100. There will be four sections in MTS Paper-I General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numeric Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness. General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numeric aptitude contains 25 questions and General English, General Awareness contains 50 questions. Each question carry one mark for the right answer and each wrong answer punish 0.25 marks. The duration of paper-I is 2 hour for General Candidates and 2 hour 40 min provide for the visually handicapped candidates. The Paper-II of SSC MTS will be held in offline mode. The candidates who have been shortlisted in the pre examination the commission has called  only Paper-II. The SSC Multi-tasking phase 2 exam carries 50 marks. The duration of MTS Paper-II is 30 minutes for the General Candidates and 45 minutes for visually handicapped. In the examination of MTS Paper-II the candidates have to write short Essay/ Letter in English. Paper-II of SSC MTS will be a qualifying nature.

The Candidates who has been submitted the SSC Multi-Tasking Staff application form will be able to download their Admit card of MTS for Tier-l exam before 10 days of the examination. The admit card will be published by Official website of SSC MTS. Candidate can download their admit card by filling the details of their registration no. and date of birth with region.
