Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will publish SSC JE 2018-19 notification to recruit eligible candidates for Junior Engineer Civil, Electrical and Mechanical posts. Commission will announce notification to recruit candidates for JE posts in different Government Departments. Candidates who fulfill all eligibility criteria of SSC JE provided by Commission can apply SSC JE recruitment through online mode. Candidate can apply SSC JE application on 01 September 2018 to 23 September 2018.

Eligibility Criteria of SSC JE:

Educational Qualification:

For Junior Engineer (Civil)Candidates have CPWD – B.E. / B. Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized university/ Institute.

For Junior Engineer (Civil & Mechanical) Candidates have CWC – B.E. / B. Tech / Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering from any recognized university/ Institute.

For Junior Engineer (Electrical)Candidates have CPWD – B.E. / B. Tech / Diploma in Electrical engineering from any recognized university/ Institute.

For Junior Engineer (Civil)Candidates have Department of post – B.E. / B. Tech /3 Year Diploma in Civil engineering from any recognized university/ Institute.

For Junior Engineer (Electrical)Candidates have Department of post – B.E. / B. Tech /3 Year Diploma in Electrical engineering from any recognized university/ Institute.

For Junior Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical)Candidates have MES – B.E. / B. Tech. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering OR 3 Years Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university/ Institute and with 2 Year work experience in electrical / mechanical engineering works. 

For Junior Engineer (Civil)Candidates have MES – B.E. / B. Tech. in Civil Engineering OR 3 Years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/ Institute and with 2 Year work experience in Civil engineering works.

For Junior Engineer (QS&C)Candidates have MES – B.E. / B. Tech. in Civil Engineering OR 3 Years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/ Institute OR Passed intermediate examination in Building and quantity surveying (Sub Divisional-II) from the institute of surveyors (India).

Application Fee for SSC JE 2018:

The application Fee of SSC JE was Rs. 200/ (Two Hundred Rupee only) for the General & OBC Male Candidates, last year. All female and male candidates of SC/ST were zero. Candidate can pay their examination fee via Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit, and SBI Challan.

Selection Procedure of SSC JE:

 Staff Selection Commission will be held the examination of SSC JE. The SSC JE 2018 examination will be organized in two parts. Paper first and paper second will be based on online and offline mode respectively. Paper first will be 200 marks and paper second will be 300 marks and both papers will be multiple choice question type. There will be negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. The candidate who will be appearing for the post of SSC JE (Civil), JE (Quantity surveying & contract) attempt Part A of paper 1st and Paper 2nd. For JE (Electrical) and JE (Mechanical) candidates will be attempted part B and part C of Paper 1st and 2nd respectively. After qualifying the paper first of SSC JE 2018 candidates will be called to appear Paper second. Paper second will be based on offline mode and descriptive type. The total duration for paper second will be 3 hours. After qualifying paper second candidates will be eligible for document verification.

SSC JE Admit Card :

Staff Selection Commission will release the admit card of Junior Engineer via online mode. The Admit Card of SSC JE is likely to be released in the first week of November 2018.  Candidate will be able to download their admit card of SSC JE by putting their roll number and date of birth. SSC JE 2018 Admit Card is provided in two stages Paper-1 and Paper-2.

SSC JE Answer Key 2018 :

SSC JE Answer Key will be relished by officially via online mode. Staff Selection Commission will publish the answer key of SSC JE 2018 after Tier-I examination. Candidates who have appeared in Tier-I examination of SSC JE will be able to see their Answer Key by putting roll number and date of birth. The Answer Key of SSC JE will help to check their rough result of Tier-I examination 2018. SSC JE Answer Key will be released within one month after the examination of Tier-I.

SSC JE Cut OFF 2018 :

SSC JE tier Cutoff marks will be released via online mode through Staff Selection Commission. Cut Off Of SSC JE will be published after releasing the answer key of SSC JE 2018. Cut-off marks will help to candidate to appear in the examination of SSC JE Tier-II. Staff Selection Commission will only be called those candidates who will obtain equal and above from minimum qualifying cut off marks provided by SSC. Cut Off marks will depend on number of vacancies and candidates performance.

SSC JE Result 2018-19

Staff Selection Commission will publish the result of SSC JE via online mode. SSC organizes SSC JE exam in all regions of India every year. Thousands of candidates appear in this examination. SSC will publish the result of SSC JE in two parts, first for Tier-I and second for Tier-II respectively. Final result of SSC JE will be declared after document verification. Candidate can check their result via online mode by filling the roll number and date of birth.
