About JEE Advanced

JEE Advanced is known as Joint Entrance Exam Advanced. JEE Advanced is a national level examination to take admission in Bachelor’s integrated Master’s or Bachelor Master’s dual degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutics, Sciences or Architecture. The candidates who qualifying the JEE Main exam will be able to appear in JEE Advanced 2020. JEE Advanced Exam will be conducted through   one of seven zonal coordinating IIT’s.

Eligibility Criteria of JEE Advanced 2020

The candidates who want to apply for JEE Advanced 2020 read all the eligibility criteria before apply online.

Age Limit

The age limit of candidates fall on or after October 1, 1995 will be able to apply. The candidates who belonging to SC / ST / PwD the age limit of candidates fall on or after October 1st 1990 will be eligible to apply.

Education Qualification

The candidates should be appeared or qualified the 12th standard examination in 2019 or 2020.

  • Number of attempts in JEE Advanced:

The maximum attempts in JEE Advanced for the candidates will be available for two times.

  • JEE Main:

The candidates who appear in JEE Main examination 2020 will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced Exam Pattern 2020

The JEE Advanced exam will be conducted through online mode. JEE Advanced examination contains 2 papers and both papers are compulsory. The duration of both papers will be 3 hours of JEE Advanced. The questions will be asked objective type in the examination of JEE Advanced from Physics Chemistry Mathematics. The language of the both paper will be in English and Hindi. JEE Advanced 2019 exam contains negative marking and negative marking will be different for each paper.

JEE Advanced Admit Card 2020

JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card will be released in the second week of May via Online mode. Candidates who registered for the JEE Main 2020 examination will be able to download their admit card. Candidates can download their admit card by filling the registration number and date of birth.

JEE Advanced Answer Key 2020

The answer key of JEE Advanced 2020 will be declared after one-two days of the examination by the authority. The candidates will be able to download the JEE Advanced answer key in the fourth week of May. The answer key of JEE Advanced helps the candidates to check their score before announcement of result. The candidates will also be eligible to send their objection against any question or answer. The final answer key of JEE Advanced 2020 will be released in the second week of June. Candidates can download their answer key by filling their roll number and date of birth respectively.

JEE Advanced Result 2020

The result of JEE Advanced will be declared in the second week of June through IIT Roorkee. Candidates will be able to download their result via online mode. In the result off JEE Advanced candidates can check their individual scores and total marks secured in the examination. JEE Advanced result 2020 will also present all India rank secured by the candidates.

JEE Advanced Rank List 2020

The rank list of JEE Advanced 2020 will be released along with the result. JEE Advanced rank list is prepared for only those candidates who will appear in the examination of JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The rank list will be based on the total marks obtained in JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced College Predictor

After announcement of result and rank list, candidates can check the list of college where the chance of admission may be high via college predictor of JEE Advanced 2020. Using the college predictor, the candidates will have to enter their rank to the preferred branches, category and other information. The process of college predictor will allow the candidates to prepare for the counselling process in which the choice filling has to be done.

JEE Advanced Counselling

The counselling of JEE Advanced will be conducted through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). All the candidates who qualify JEE Advanced 2020 will have to get registered through JoSAA to participate in the counselling process. The seat allotment of candidates will be based on the ranking, their preference and availability of seats. The application of Seat allotment and Counselling will be available on second week of June/July 2020.
