The Application Form of BHU 2019 for UET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) and PET (Postgraduate Entrance Exam) entrance exam can be filled up to 9th March 2019. BHU or Banaras Hindu University was founded by the Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya in 1916. BHU is one of the most famous and reputed central universities in India. It conducts separate BHU Entrance Exam for UG & PG programs. It provides admission to the UG, PG and diploma/ certificate courses offered by its own University and the colleges which are affiliated to it. For taking Admission in MBA programs can be done through CAT scores of 2018. Application Form of BHU 2019

  • Candidates are allowed to fill and submit the application form of BHU 2019 via online mode on the official website.
  • The information about BHU admission and application form will not be available through offline mode.
  • The online Application form of BHU 2019 has been released from 10th of February 2019 for both the courses of UG & PG.
  • The last date of application form is 9th March 2019.
  • Students are allowed to have their scanned photograph and signature as due to the instructions of BHU 2019.
  • Now candidates are required to take a printout copy of application form for future purpose.
Application Fee for BHU Entrance Exam 2019
  • The application fee of BHU entrance exam can be deposited through online mode i.e. credit card/ debit card and offline mode i.e. bank Challan.
  • The Challan should be any branch of HDFC bank.

Eligibility Criteria for BHU Entrance Exam 2019

The minimum eligibility requirements should be checked before applying for the examination. The details for eligibility criteria are given here:

For UG Courses

 Age limit

  • Candidates will not be greater than 22 years on 1st of July 2019.
  • Relaxation of 5 years in upper age limits for SC/ ST and PC categories.
  • Relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit for OBC category.

10+2/ intermediate or equivalent Examination with min of 50% marks aggregate.

B.Com (Hons.) and B.Com (Hons.) Management in Financial Markets

10+2/ intermediate or equivalent Examination with Commerce/ Economics/ Maths/ Computer Sc./ Finance/ Financial Markets Management/ Vocational courses (related to Commerce) as any one of the subjects.

Secure min of 50% marks aggregate.

B. Sc (Hons.)in Maths Group

10+2/ intermediate or equivalent Examination with Physics and Mathematics and any one of the following: Chemistry, Statistics, Geology, Computer Science, Information Technology & Geography.

Secure minimum 50% marks aggregate.

B. Sc (Hons.)in Bio Group

10+2/ intermediate or equivalent Examination with Physics and Chemistry and any one of the following: Biology, Geology & Geography.

Secure min of 50% marks aggregate.

LLB (Hons.)

BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com/ Shastri (at least 10+2+3 pattern) with min of 50% marks aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST).

Age Limit: Not to be more than 30 years (35 years for SC/ ST) on 1st July 2019.

Note:  Candidates for SC/ ST, there will be no requirement for the min percentage of marks (except LLB/ BA LLB (Hons.). Candidates for OBC and PC, there will be of 5% relaxation marks in aggregate.

For PG Courses

Qualification Criteria for BHU Entrance exam 2019

BA (Hons.) or BA or B.Sc (Hons)/ B.Sc under at least 10+2+3 pattern and secure min of 50% aggregate marks (except BA/ B.Sc level).

M.Com

B.Com (Hons.)/ B.Com/ B.Com (Hons.)-FMM at least (10+2+3) Pattern and secure min of 50% aggregate marks (except B.Com level).
M.Sc (Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Geography, Mathematics, Statistics, Psychology, Home Science)

B.Sc (Hons.)/ B.Sc. at least 10+2+3 pattern and secure min of 50% aggregate marks.

M.Sc (Biochemistry)

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biochemistry/ B.Sc. at least 10+2+3 pattern with Biochemistry and secure min of 50% aggregate marks.
MA (Mass Communication)

Graduate degree in any discipline at least 10+2+3 pattern.

LLM

3 year LLB degree after graduation at least 10+2+3 pattern or five years LLB at-least 10+2+5 pattern.

Note:  Candidates for SC/ ST, there will be no requirement for the min percentage of marks. Candidates for OBC and PC, there will be of 5% relaxation marks in aggregate.

Exam Pattern

For UG

  • The examination will be held into two shifts like 8:00 AM (1st Shift) and 3:00 p.m. (2nd Shift).
  • It will be in both online and offline mode.
  • It will be in both English and Hindi language.
  • Time will be 2 hours and 2½ hours as per the courses of paper.
  • Total 150 multiple choice questions.
  • Total 450 marks.
  • Their will be 3 marks for the right answer.
  • There will be negative marking for the wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.

For PG

  • The examination will be held in three shifts like 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM (1st shift), 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM (2nd Shift) and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (3rd Shift).
  • It is in offline mode.
  • There are 120 multiple choice questions
  • Total time is 2 hours.
  • Maximum 360 marks.
  • Every right answer carry 3 marks.
  • There will be negative marking for the wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
Syllabus of BHU 2019

The syllabus of UG Courses BHU 2019 is comprises of 10+2 or equivalent examinations of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology. For the PG courses syllabus contain the topics and chapters of graduation level of the relevant field which the candidate want to opt. The exam of Law the syllabus comprises of General Awareness and Current Affairs, Common Legal Knowledge, Aptitude and Mental Ability sections.

Admit Card of BHU 2019

Candidates can get the BHU 2019 Admit Card via online mode. The university will also sent notification in the form of email or SMS regarding to the admit card through candidates registered email ID or mobile number.

The online admit card of BHU 2019 may be released in the 4th week of April 2019 for UG and 2nd week of May 2019 for PG and he/ she can download their admit card by entering his/ her email ID or registration ID. Candidates are also allowed to paste his/ her passport size photograph in the space provided on the Admit Card printout and are also required to self-attest.

Answer Key of BHU 2019

The answer key of BHU 2019 will release on different dates according to UG and PG courses and answer key will be announced in the month of May 2019 for UG and PG. The answer key will be available via online mode on the official website in a pdf format. Students can check the answer key according to his/ her set like SET 1, SET 2 and SET 3.

Result of BHU 2019

Candidates will be able to see their BHU 2019 result through online mode which will be releases in the 3rd  week of May 2019. It can be seen by entering their roll number in give space that are provided. Candidates can also get their practical admit card if they are shortlisted for practical along with their result.

The BHU University will also inform the students through email or SMS about marks, overall merit and merit within the category through registered email ID and mobile number. After few days the BHU University will releases the cutoff of the given entrance exam of UG and PG courses.

Counselling of BHU 2019

The university will organize the counseling of BHU 2019 for taking the admission in the various courses which are covered under UG and PG which will be started from the 1st week of July 2019.

Candidates can download their appearing letter for appearing in the counseling which will be given to the candidates who are shortlisted in the exam.

The BHU University adopts a counseling process in computerized mode for taking admissions to various courses which will be comprises of the following steps like online preference entry, reporting at counselling center and payment of fee.

The admission in BHU University can be done according to the merit, eligibility requirements, availability of seats, etc.
